"I was recruited by Toni Ressaire for the French writing and reviewing. I write documentation for a manufacturer of intelligent traffic guiding systems. I like volunteering and always wanted to do a co-op mission, but it’s not always possible to leave for 2-3 months or more. TWWB is a great way to provide help in the long run because I can put an hour in, here and there, over months and years and see the actual results. So far it has been also very rewarding through all the tools we learn to use to get the job done, so we get as much as we give in this activity, and this is what volunteering is all about."

"I became involved with Tech Writers Without Borders because I wanted to use my skills to help organizations that make a difference in the world. I particularly love working with children, and I learned about iNERDE, an organization that provides camps for children in Africa, teaching them about science, technology, engineering and mathematics. A member of the iNERDE team shared some of their needs for training materials. I can't go to Africa, but I can use my technical skills to help provide content that will introduce a child to information that could change his or her world view. The training I'm producing for iNERDE means that a child will have access to education."
